DAMC-FMC2ZUP-HB

Board Description

The DAMC-FMC2ZUP-HB is a high-performance MTCA.4 carrier featuring the Xilinx ZU11EG/ZU19EG Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC. It offers 653k/1143k logic cells, 2928/1968 DSP slices, and 48 Multi-Gigabit Transceivers. The quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 (1.5 GHz) is paired with 4GB DDR4 for the PS and 1GB DDR4 for the PL. It supports PCIe Gen 3.0 x8, Gigabit Ethernet, and 8 M-LVDS timing/trigger signals. The board includes two FMC sockets (one FMC+ with 24 transceivers up to 28.21 Gbps, one HPC with 8 transceivers up to 16.375 Gbps) and a flexible clocking system. It also features front-panel Gigabit Ethernet (SFP+), USB Type-C (Display + USB 3.0), and supports White Rabbit. The RTM interface (class D1.1) connects to existing DESY digital RTMs. The ARM processor runs GNU/Linux from MicroSD or eMMC. Supported by Xilinx tools (Vivado, Petalinux, etc.), this board provides high processing power and flexibility for general-purpose FMC applications.

The key differences between the DAMC-FMC2ZUP Board and the DAMC-FMC2ZUP-HB Board are: - all LA, HA and HB pins of FMC1 and FMC2 are connected to the SoC - SoC-to-Spartan interface reduced to 25 Lines (compatible to AXI Chip-to-Chip Interface) - no PL DDR4 Memory
