Board Description

The DRTM-8SFP is a cost-efficient board designed as a replacement for the DAMC-FMC2ZUP. It features a compact and efficient design, with the first three prototypes already produced and successfully tested, achieving a 100% working rate. The board supports 4 or 8 MGT (Multi-Gigabit Transceiver) channels towards the RTM (Rear Transition Module), with the option for Class D1.2 or D1.3 assemblies. Depending on the AMC (Advanced Mezzanine Card) used, the number of MGT channels to the RTM can range from 1 to 8. The board is designed for operation at speeds of up to 12.5 Gbps and is tailored to meet specific application requirements. Notably, the design process was completed in just three months, utilizing low-cost PCB materials and components to ensure affordability without compromising performance. This makes the DRTM-8SFP an attractive option for applications requiring high-speed data transmission and flexibility in configuration.
