DRTM-DWC10

Board Description
The DRTM-DWC10 is a ten-channel high-frequency down-converter RTM module that adheres to the MTCA.4 specification. This unit operates within the L- and S-bands, with input center frequencies ranging from 700 MHz to 4 GHz. It provides exceptional amplitude and phase short-term stability, typically less than 0.005% and 10 fs (rms) respectively, across the frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz. Each output intermediate frequency of the DRTM-DWC10 is fully differential and available at the RTM Zone 3 connector. These signals can be read out by any Class A1 compatible AMC digitizer board. The module includes switchable front-end power level attenuators to ensure accurate full-scale operation of the AMC digitizers. The DRTM-DWC10 supports both external and internal input signals for the local oscillator (LO) and clock (CLK). External signals can be input via the front panel, while internal signals can be sourced from an RF-backplane. Additionally, the module features an on-board LO power level monitor and a user I2C interface for general-purpose use. The DRTM-DWC10 is designed as a double-width MTCA.4 Rear-Transition Module (RTM) and is Class A1 compatible. It offers 10-channel high-frequency down-conversion from 1 GHz to 4 GHz, with short-term amplitude and phase stability of less than 0.005% and 10 fs (rms) respectively, within the 10 Hz to 1 MHz range. The module supports various intermediate frequencies between 5 MHz and 65 MHz and includes switchable front-end attenuators. It can accept LO and CLK inputs from either the front panel or the RF-backplane. Furthermore, the DRTM-DWC10 is equipped with an on-board LO power level monitor, a temperature sensor, and user I2C support, ensuring robust and flexible operation. The module is RoHS compliant, meeting environmental standards. Optional features for the DRTM-DWC10 include RF-backplane support, DC-channel input, and enhanced channel isolation, providing additional customization options to meet specific application requirements.
