MTCA BRINGUP Adapter Mechanics
Description
DESY has designed a complete mechanical setup for the MicroTCA Bring-Up Adapter and MicroTCA Bring-Up Adapter SFP+ that ensures both ease of use and board protection.
It allows - Installation of the bring-up adapter. - Guided sliding mechanism for straight insertion and removal of the AMC board. - Bottom-side access, thanks to the open frame design. - RTM installation capability, supporting rear transition modules. - Safe handling, preventing tilting of the board which could damage the AMC. - Fan installation support, enabling adequate cooling.
This design is highly practical, since it combines accessibility while ensuring reliable handling without allowing tilting of the AMC.
